Karen is a partner in the Corporate & International Tax practice. Karen leads Tax Scale Services for Deloitte Ireland including transfer pricing, tax technology consulting, grants & incentives, legal and business process solution.
Karen has nearly 30 years’ experience advising multinational companies and Irish PLCs particularly in the life sciences and technology sector. She works with clients in relation to Irish and international tax issues such as international tax changes, US Tax Reform and the availability of grants and incentives. She has significant M&A experience both from the buy and sell side.
Karen is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA). She has been named as one of the leading women in tax in the International Tax Review (ITR) each year from 2016 to 2025 Women in Tax Leaders guides. From 2022 to date, she has also been included as a highly regarded tax advisor by the ITR.
Karen is past President of the Irish Taxation Institute.
