Having over 41 years of experience, Ivan provides advice to national and international clients on relevant matters of tax consulting for business companies in various industries and specialized wealth advisory for individuals. He also advises and handles tax audits processes, Value Added Tax (VAT) and Income Tax (ISR) refunds, as well as the resolution of tax disputes. Throughout his professional career, he has represented and supported clients in highly relevant negotiations before tax authorities. His practice is characterized by his initiative, timely response, and commitment with each of his clients through tailor-made service.
He is member of the Management Board and Audit Committee of several stock exchange and private companies in our country.
He has been professor at the most important universities in the country, such as Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM), Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) and Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
Ivan joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in 1982 and he was promoted to Partner in 1993. From 2007 to 2020, he served as Managing Partner of the Tax Consulting area of the Firm.
