Tax controversy
Cesar’s practice focuses on dispute resolution and administrative and tax litigation in a wide range of sectors and transactions, representing national and foreign clients.
He has vast experience in tax litigation and controversies, as well as handling procedures initiated by tax authorities involving transfer pricing, financial system, corporate restructuring and anti-money laundering. Even though he is a litigator, for Cesar, litigation is his last resort, as he always seeks to resolve disputes to avoid litigation.
Cesar also enjoys academia; he is a professor at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. in International Taxation, and he has been a professor of tax law at Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas (CIDE).
