US firm Reed Smith has announced the addition of a new partner to its global corporate group in New York.
Alan Schwartz joins the New York office from McDermott Will & Emery, where he was a partner in the tax practice.
The new addition brings with him significant experience in international tax issues and a strong focus on the tax aspects of securities offerings and structured finance matters. Recently, he has been advising on tax issues involved cryptocurrencies and blockchain transactions.
