Julien Tran is an internationally oriented professional with expertise in law, taxation, and business relations. Currently based in Ho Chi Minh City, he has built a career shaped by education and professional experience across France, Vietnam, New Caledonia, and Réunion Island.

Julien holds multiple Master's degrees in Law from the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Université Paris V Descartes, and Université de Bordeaux, complemented by programs with Université Libre de Bruxelles, and University of Law of Ho Chi Minh City. This multidisciplinary education provided him with a strong foundation in comparative legal systems, international relations, and taxation, equipping him to navigate complex regulatory environments.

As previous Vice-Chair and General Secretary, Julien made a significant impact at the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV), where he fostered economic cooperation between France and Vietnam. 

Fluent in French, English, and Vietnamese, he combines academic excellence with global networking capacity.

  • Advised in Local transfer pricing regulations, and provided recommendations for compliance.
  • Assessed the potential tax implications and provided an evaluation of the Double Tax Agreement’s application and potential tax exemptions available to the client.
  • Evaluated the expenses and income of the manufacturer in Vietnam during its incentive period to determine which income qualifies for incentive tax benefits. Additionally, provided support with CIT finalization and prepared comprehensive transfer pricing documentation in compliance with Vietnam regulations and the Group's pricing policy
  • Feasibility assessment and potential tax implications for the company in Vietnam under an Employer-of-Record (“EOR”).
