Allan Fallet is the head of the tax practice at Duarte Garcia Advogados, with over 20 years of experience advising on complex tax matters. His practice focuses on corporate tax planning, cross-border structuring, real estate tax and the taxation of M&A and international transactions. He also advises on tax litigation and administrative procedures. Allan serves as a judge at the Administrative Tax Court of the State of São Paulo and at Administrative Tax Counsel of the Municipality of São Paulo. He holds a law degree from IBMEC/RJ, an LLM in tax law from FGV/RJ, and a master’s in tax law from PUC/SP. He has also pursued advanced studies at Northwestern University, Universiteit Leiden, IDP and ABDF. Allan lectures on tax law at PUC/SP, FGV and IBMEC and is the author of two books and over 50 academic publications, with works held in university libraries in more than 170 countries.
