The firm advised Citibanamex with complex tax advice in the landmark process to create two banks through the succcessful separation of retail and corporate banking businesses. The firm also successfully represented and advised the Mexican subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co with a tax assessment that included complex transfer pricing concerns. The firm successfully represented a company in the energy industry which overcame an innovative argument relating to capital gains, which was dismissed.
