During the research cycle, Ayres Westin advised Heineken and analyzed the firm’s calculation of tax credits related to investment subsidies following recent legal changes in Brazil. Their work allowed the client to expand its business and required a detailed approach to ensure compliance and maximize tax benefits. Ayres Westin also carried out remittance work for another client, Idemia do Brasil.  The firm conducted a detailed analysis for the purposes of remittances that resulted in significant tax savings for the client.
