Aegis Tax Lawyers is a new tax boutique founded in 2018. It has assorted practitioners in domestic and international tax law. VAT, real estate, and transfer tax are core specialisms. Multinationals, SMEs, and Start-ups are assorted clients. Managing partner is Michel Bilars working alongside indirect practitioner Pascal Schrijver and transaction specialist Jan Lamers. Transactions specialist Sander Schildt is a corporate practitioner working in unison with wage tax specialist Frank Werger.  

The firm restructured a loan portfolio as part of a real estate transaction and advised a Dutch client on the innovation box entailing complex VAT dimensions.  

Wage tax specialist Frank Werger joined the firm on July 1st, 2024.

The firm supervised a strategic sale for a consumer finance firm and relayed advice relating to a Dutch subsidiary relocation.

Tax director Sander Schildt arrived in February 2022, following transfer pricing specialist Robert de Vries in 2021.
