Miguel Neto Advogados’ tax team is divided into tax advisory and tax litigation. The tax advisory team works closely with specialists in other areas and practice groups, such as corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, labor, real estate, foreign investment, and estate planning. The tax litigation team specializes in tax appeals at the administrative and judicial levels and advises on tax disputes, tax ruling requests and protocol negotiations with tax authorities. The firm also advises in transfer pricing matters.
During the research period, the team assisted
Café Três Corações Alimentos. The lawsuits have not yet been definitively ruled, however during 2021 there was a reduction of approximately 50% of the total amount. The estimate is that the remaining amounts shall be fully canceled. The firm worked to provide a solution that brings greater economic efficiency.
