Mauger Muniz Advogados was founded in 2017 with expertise in several sectors such as commerce services, automotive, banking and finance, estate and succession planning, telecommunications, electronics, food and retail. Services include Tax Planning and Tax Litigation legal advice, Wealth and Succession Planning advice, assisting our clients with the legal procedure that defines how the transfer of assets is carried out while the person is still alive or after the person's death.
During the research period the firm advised Velans Teleinformática. The case was a cross-border operation that demanded a multi-disciplinary approach and deep knowledge of technology systems to provide support. The challenge was to try to align the foreign producer interests with those of the Brazilian tax structure to get the product at a competitive price. The firm assisted Velans with the drafting of the sole agent contract agreement with Yealink. This agreement was related the import of the video-conference system which led to the company winning the Petrobras bid.
The team recruited partner Allan George de Abreu Fallet and senior associate Enzo Romero Rodrigues, both previously from LTSA.
