Founded in 2003, Marchiori Sachet Barros has branches in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, Manaus and Brasilia, and has more than 140 staff members of which 100 are lawyers of solid legal training, including 12 partners.
The Tax Department is composed of Litigation, Consulting and Advisory divisions. The firm stands out in the economic segments of retail, logistics, industry, telecommunications, beverages, energy, oils and gas, infrastructure, mining, port sector and shipyard, new technologies, sugar and alcohol production, air, rail transportation and shipping.
During the research period the firm was involved in
advisory for several national companies in the telecommunication industry to present to ANATEL (National Telecommunications Agency) the fiscal regularity of the companies with the purpose of approving the incorporation project for the consortium purchase enabling the 5G auction.
Two junior partners, Gustavo Teixeira Domingues and Marcos Orind de Oliveira departed in January of 2023, along with senior partner Mariana Kapps Coutinho leaving in March. The firm recruited a new junior partner, Karina Neves Gutermann.
