During the past year the team, the
firm assisted Saint-Gobain in an Administrative Tax Litigation related to the formal restrictions imposed by the Brazilian Tax authorities to ensure the recognition of the tax paid by a company controlled abroad. The success of its performance may result in the relaxation of the evidentiary requirements for offsetting tax paid abroad by all companies headquartered in Brazil, which receive profits abroad.
