Freitas e Vieira Advogados is a boutique firm founded in 2017 with a focus on tax law. Led by Rodrigo de Freitas and Rodrigo Rodrigues Leite Vieira, the group brings a broad and innovative set of knowledge to a broad spectrum of tax issues. The group has done significant work in finance, industry, services, and healthcare.

The last year, the firm represented Banco BESA and filed an action challenging the charge of the Brazilian social contribution on net income (CSLL). It was demonstrated that the Bank had correctly paid and declared the amounts due as a social contribution, since it was a spontaneous reporting of the debt to the tax authorities.

The firm welcomed Rodrigo Nogueira de Souza as senior associate, previously from Thielmann & Nogueira Advogados.
