Quick facts:

Number of advisers: 315

For another year, our Greek Tax Team continued to expand, hiring more people and establishing further itself as the biggest tax firm in Greece, both in terms of people (current headcount of 315 tax professionals) and of revenues.

Our firm provides cross border tax advisory services through our international tax professionals and our strong TP practice, the latter being the largest in Greece and awarded the title of National TP Firm of the Year 12 times since 2009. Our specialized transaction tax professionals are recognized as leaders, both in terms of complexity of transactions undertaken and quality of support offered. By providing services throughout the entire transaction life cycle, spanning from tax due diligence on potential targets and tax structuring of the deal to post-closing implementation and post-acquisition integration of targets into the buyer’s group structure, they have assisted in the successful completion of major transactions, always within the clients’ commercial constraints and strategies.

EY’s tax controversy and litigation services team has been established as the leading big-4 firm in this field as well in Greece, by managing high-profile cases (including mass-litigations), some of which have triggered break-through Supreme Court decisions changing set jurisprudence.

Finally, EY acts as the permanent tax expert advisor to the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), while regularly offers opinions to the Greek Independent Authority for Public Revenues re tax rules’ implementation.

Our day-to-day practice demonstrates that our core priority is the delivery of exceptional client service by being connected, responsive and insightful. In addition to remaining trusted advisors to our clients, we focus on thinking and acting globally and across service lines. The above competitive advantages have led to our dominant positioning and reputation in the Greek tax market and underpin our constant strive to create a better working world.
