In 2017 DLA Piper advised the BASF on the planned acquisition of the integrated global polyamides business of Solvay. The team also assisted in reviewing and optimising the tax aspects of a client's existing pan-European investment fund platform for real estate investments within the EU.
Marie-Theres Rämer was hired from Clifford Chance in 2018 and counsel Sebastian Kost joined the firm in the same year. Partner Claus Jochimsen-von Gfug left the firm in December 2017.
