Campos Lobo Advogados acts nationally with a strong presence in Brazil’s Northeast area, where it assists large and medium-sized companies in general corporate tax and litigation matters. The team is composed by six lawyers, and it is led by Leonardo Nuñez Campos. Among its clients are companies acting on renewable energy, oil and gas, fuels distributors and gas stations, mining industry, transportation, retail, construction, call centers, as well as manufacturers and operators in the wind power market.
During the research period, the firm took over the sponsorship (there was more than 200 law offices working for them) of all civil and tax disputes of Brazil’s North and Northeast regions, which involves a liability of approximately BRL 2.5 billion on tax area and civil suits which involves around BRL 1.5 billion in credit recoveries cases, detinue claiming, and defense in lawsuits.
