Brazilian firm Stocche Forbes has announced the addition of a 10-lawyer team to its tax practice.
The group joined the firm from Brigagão Duque Estrada Emery Advogados - henceforth Brigagão Duque Estrada Advogados - and included partners Renata Emery and Alberto Medeiros, counsel Pedro Simão and Carlos Renato and six other legal professionals. Emery specialises in tax planning and administrative and judicial litigation, the latter of which Medeiros is also focused on.
With the new team on board, Stocche Forbes can now boast a tax practice with five partners, two counsel and 18 associates spread over three offices in Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
