US firm Mayer Brown has announced the addition of a new partner to its tax transactions and consulting practice based in San Francisco.
Sunghak ‘Andy’ Baik joins the firm from his last position with EY, where he served as a partner and financial services/international tax principal for a total of four years, his second stint with the firm having previously spent 18 years working in its New York, Singapore and South Korean offices.
He brings with him more than 25 years of experience advising on cross-border tax matters, with a focus on US, Asian and international tax systems.
