Big Four tax consultancy firm KPMG has announced the addition of a new managing partner to the national tax practice of its District of Columbia operation.
Marissa Rensen joins the team from the IRS, where she most recently served as a special counsel in the office of the chief counsel. Prior to that she had worked for more than three years as an attorney with Mayer Brown.
She brings with her almost 15 years of experience handling a variety of tax issues and will help clients navigate interactions between US international tax rules and evolving global reforms to better manage their operations.
