DSM Avocats à la Cour, an independent law firm, is pleased to announce the arrival of Mélanie Schmitt, Guillaume Grotz and Maxime Cuche.

Mélanie Schmitt joined the firm as Avocat à la Cour on 1 October 2020. At 27 years of age, she reinforces the Real Estate and Construction, Dispute Resolution, Commercial and Business Law as well as the Banking and Financial Law departments. Mélanie began her career with Westlegal Avocats.

Ms Schmitt holds a Master 2 in cross-border business law from the University of Lorraine, a Master 1 and an LLM (Magister der Rechte) in private law from Trier University as well as a double bachelor’s degree in French and German Law from Saarland University’s Franco-German Legal Center.

She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2017 and became Avocat à la Cour on 6 October 2020.

Mélanie speaks English, French, German, Italian and Luxembourgish.

Guillaume Grotz, 24 years of age, joined DSM Avocats à la Cour as administrative assistant and receptionist in August of 2020. He holds a Master MEEF in English from the University of Lorraine, Guillaume speaks English and French.

Maxime Cuche, 25 years of age, joined DSM Avocats à la Cour on 1 October 2020 as Marketing Officer, after having done some freelance work for the firm.

Maxime holds a Master 2 from the SKEMA Business School’s Grande Ecole Programme, a High-er National Diploma in Business and Administration Management from the University of Haute-Alsace and studied abroad at the Cracow University of Economics in Poland and North Carolina State University in the USA. He also participated in the Grandes écoles de l'ANAJ-IHEDN seminar for youth on national defense.
