Steffen Hoerner will join the Frankfurt office of Herbert Smith Freehills as the first tax partner at the firm in Germany.
Hoerner joins the team from Hengeler Mueller, where he has spent the previous nine years, including the previous year and a half as counsel.
He advises on all tax aspects relating to M&A transactions, as well as capital market and financing transactions. He is also experienced in representing clients in dispute and arbitration proceedings.
