Recent wins

Deloitte assisted a major automotive company in analyzing the re-design of the company’s supply chain and the foreign trade approach needed to obtain the benefits of a special manufacturing regime which contains reductions in customs duties. Through our work, savings of approximately 25% of the company’s costs were identified, turning the business into a highly profitable one. Profits may otherwise have been very limited, reducing market competitiveness.

Deloitte assisted an alcoholic beverage manufacturing group in restructuring its business model to manage the group’s indirect tax on its foreign trade operations. The group needed this internal business transformation to qualify for available programs and authorizations. The restructure resulted in savings of more than 55% for the group’s purchasing operations.
