The Luxembourg branch of Benelux law firm Strelia has announced the addition of two new partners to its tax practice.

Jean-Luc Dascotte joins the team from Fieldfisher, where he had been for more than two years. He brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in Luxembourg, France, and Belgium, with a number of different leading regional law firms.

His experience private equity structuring for private clients and investments funds, real estate investments and IP holding. He is also recognised for his expertise in investment finance and in supervising tax audits, conducting tax litigation and performing tax and legal due diligence examinations.

Stanislas Bunetel brings with him more than 15 years’ experience in both in-house and other law firm roles. Most recently that included serving for more than five years as CEO of trust bank BIL Fund & Corporate Services. Prior to that he had served in roles at a number of leading Luxembourg law firms. His work is focused on tax and corporate law, including international tax consulting, group restructuring, financing activities, real estate transactions, private equity, corporate tax, individual and wealth tax, VAT, tax litigation and the incorporation of Luxembourg companies.
