The Washington DC office of global tax network Andersen Global has announced the arrival of a new managing director to its US National Tax practice.
Heather Harman joins the firm from a government role, where she served as the legislation tax accountant for the Joint Committee on Taxation of the United States Congress. In that role, she was directly involved in the drafting and reviewing of tax legislation, specifically the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (TCJA).
Prior to that role, she had previously worked for more than 16 years in the market, serving a number of different Big Four accounting firms.
