Ricardo Marletti Debatin da Silveira

Ricardo has over 32 years, with a particular focus on indirect taxes, mergers and acquisitions, and tax litigation. He has developed strong client relationships across industries, particularly in the automotive, energy, services, and technology sectors.

Ricardo’s international expertise includes advising multinational companies on structuring their operations in Brazil, acquiring domestic companies, conducting due diligence, and managing corporate reorganizations. He is skilled at navigating complex tax issues and litigation in Brazil and frequently collaborates with leading international law firms to serve mutual clients.

Ricardo serves as President of the Board of the Brazilian Institute of Energy Law Studies (IBDE) and is a member of the tax committees of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Center for the Study of Law Firms (CESA).
