Carlo Polito is a Partner at LED Taxand and he mainly deals with tax litigation.
Carlo, chartered accountant and admitted lawyer to the Supreme Court, in addition to tax litigation, has also dealt during his professional career with the restructuring, mergers & acquisitions of corporate groups and tax planning. He worked for large company groups, operating in the following areas: Investments, Construction, Publishing, and Automotive.
Carlo graduated from the Bocconi University with a degree in Economics and with a degree in Law from the University of Studies in Milan. In his career he joined the Tax Department of Ernst & Young since February 1998. Starting from 2007, he became a Partner at Simonelli & Associati law firm, where he was responsible for the Tax litigation department. Carlo joined LED in January 2018.
Carlo is author of different papers on tax matters and regularly co-operate with the tax magazine “Fiscalità e Commercio Internazionale”.
