Antonio Piciocchi is Leader of the Indirect Tax service line and Leader of MDMO Ecobonus for STP Deloitte's tax services in Italy.
Graduated in Economics and Business at La Sapienza University of Rome, registered in the Register of Chartered Accountants and in the Register of Auditors since 1999.
He has taught at the Scuola Superiore dell'Economia e delle Finanze and is currently a lecturer in the Master's Degree in Tax Law, Accounting and Tax Planning at Luiss Business School.
He has published several articles in both national and international tax journals, some of which are included in the Library of the Court of Justice of the European Union He has constant relations with the European Commission and has successfully concluded cases of incompatibility between national legislation and European Directives. Listed among "Indirect Tax Leaders 2017" for Italy, published in the International Tax Review.
During his professional activity he has gained significant experience on budget issues and both direct and indirect taxation of companies and groups, providing ordinary assistance to his clients also on issues related to tax litigation as well as on aspects of taxation and international tax planning.
He has gained specific and in-depth experience in the aspects of corporate and tax law relating to corporate reorganizations and corporate groups such as acquisitions, mergers, demergers and contributions.
