Marienne Coutinho is a tax lawyer with over 26 years of experience who currently serves as a member of the Innovation & Enterprise Solutions Committe and chairs the Tax Transformation Committee of KPMG in Brazil. She is also a member of the global advisory board of KPMG Impact (ESG-related initiative) and currently leads the Tax Transformation initiative where she is responsible for assisting clients and all tax service lines of KPMG in Brazil to apply technology and innovation to solve tax problems. Previously, she led the International Tax, Transfer Pricing and M&A Tax practices for many years. Marienne Co-Chairs the Brazil Chapter of WCD (WomenCorporateDirectors), a global foundation that promotes diversity on Boards, which counts with more than 200 members. She was listed in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015 "Women in Tax Leaders" from International Tax Review and was listed by Forbes as one of the most powerful women in Brazil in 2016. She co-authored the book "The Rise of Brazilian Multinationals: Making the Leap from Regional Heavyweights to True Multinationals".
