Professionally, Mun Yew specialises in taxation covering areas such as Goods and Services Tax, Sales and Service Tax, domestic taxes, corporate restructurings, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, employee share option schemes, expatriate tax and international tax.

Mun Yew has over 25 years of tax experience which includes a 7-year stint with an international law firm specialising in corporate law, tax law and liquidation matters.

He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2011.

Mun Yew is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a fellow and council member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM).
