Terence WILHELM is an attorney at law and holds a PhD in tax law from the University of Strasbourg. He started his career within the Transfer Pricing department of Fidal Direction Internationale (Paris) which at that time, was the leading law firm in France. He then joined the central EY Transfer Pricing department, hence becoming the youngest manager of the firm. His entrepreneurial mindset led him to creating, and developping a genuine Transfer Pricing department dedicated to the clients mostly located in South-East France, hence creating the first decentralized Transfer Pricing team of all big4 from the Lyon office, from 2012 to 2017, as an Executive Director.

Driven by the will to break the codes and respond to growing market needs, Terence WILHELM founded CARA Avocats in 2017 with the strong ambition to form a disruptive firm, independent, and capable of adapting to any client's environment, to offer state-of-the-art expertise in strategic tax arenas.

In the framework of his experience, Terence WILHELM has handled numerous tax cases, both in France and abroad. He also has won several landmark Transfer Pricing cases before the courts. He is a regular speaker at several training organisations, law schools and management schools. Terence regularly shares his expertise in several French and foreign expert journals and his manual released in 2009 remains one of the few dedicated to transfer pricing.
