odwin is a Partner in our Energy and Infrastructure department. His expertise spans advising on energy, natural resources and infrastructure transactions, projects and related matters including transaction structuring, project developments, mergers and acquisitions, financing, regulatory, and due diligence.
Godwin also has interests in tax and regularly advises clients on Ghanaian tax matters.
His clients include Tullow Ghana, Kosmos Energy, PGS, LITASCO SA, AngloGold Ashanti, Newmont and Kinross.
Godwin holds an LLB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) and a qualifying certificate from the Ghana School of Law. He also holds a certificate in International Oil and Gas Law, Contracts, and Negotiations jointly issued by the Association of International Energy Negotiators, the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law, and the Institute for Energy Law. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law (formerly the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation).
