The team advises close to 200 clients, including the biggest banks and largest companies in the country. It is increasing its focus in tax work for blockchain companies such as crypto assets and transactions. Andreja Škofič Klanjšček is the corporate tax partner leading the corporate tax practice and Alenka Gorenčič is the director for blockchain.
The tax team assisted blockchain companies with legal, tax and accounting work. This involved legal analysis and classification of previously non-existent assets or asset classes and complying with the existing tax and accounting rules for the new types of transactions.
