Managing partners Peter Jung, Lothar Härteis, Ulrike Schellert and Franz Angermann lead the tax group at WTS Germany. It consists of 57 partners and 475 other fee earners spread across offices in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Munich.
Among the best-known companies that WTS has supported are Siemens, MAN, Osram and the Deutsche Bank subsidiary Sal Oppenheim. In addition, one of the world's largest insurance companies transferred a large part of its tax function to WTS in 2017. The firm has also advised several DAX-listed multinationals on the international restructuring of their company pension-schemes.
The firm made four partner promotions in 2017, Kristina Jahnke, Martin Loibl, Bernd Keller and Stefan Ettmayr. Christian Behlert, Philipp Besson and Florian Schnabel joined the firm from Allianz in the same year. Former local partner at White & Case, Sabine Schulte-Beckhausen, joined the firm as partner in the same year.
