Recent matter highlights:

  • Conducted several feasibility studies for a global Theme Park operator to define options and decide on the best legal and operating model structures (and locations) for their China, UK and Malaysia operations.
  • Conducted 2 design workshops to define the legal and operating model options for a global electronics company, moving their global headquarters from Europe to Asia. In Phase 2, conducted a feasibility study to assist the client to select their preferred legal and operating model option and an implementation plan developed.
  • Conducted a risk review for a global wealth management company making investments for retail and wholesale investors, based on crypto currency investments. The project required a global review of transfer pricing risks of the proposed operating model and intercompany transactions across 8 jurisdictions globally. Several recommendations were made, to manage TP risk – and all were implemented.
  • Conducted a risk review for a proposed digital token/NFP marketplace and trading structure across more than 10 countries globally. The TP risk associated with around 10 intercompany transactions was assessed and several recommendations were executed to manage the identified risks.
