The firm’s banking and finance practice group is one of the largest dedicated to banking and finance. The group has taken private a number of public companies, having unique expertise in mergers and spin-offs of financial institutions.

The firm’s real estate work includes advice to parties in all types of transactions, including financing and securitization; development of commercial, industrial and residential facilities; structuring of domestic and international funds both private and publicly traded, including CKDs; acquisitions, sales and sale-lease backs; and private and public offerings of securities representing a real estate interest, including Fibras.

The insurance and reinsurance practice group has been advising and representing leading insurance and reinsurance companies around the world in Mexican and Latin American matters. The firm is a leader on the functional aspects of insurance operations, as well as on regulatory and transactional matters, and is experienced in dealing with administrative authorities.
