DDTAX is a law firm focused exclusively on tax and customs, offering an exceptional level of specialization on those matters, and delivering highly technical legal opinions and efficient strategies for litigation. The firm’s support is trusted by clients from multiple sectors, such as technology, manufacturing, foreign trade, marketplaces, financial institutions, and agriculture.

DDTAX is focused on providing a highly personalized service to its clients, fully comprehending their problems, and delivering a tailor-made strategy for tax litigation and a highly technical and assertive tax consulting.

It aims to excel as a tax and customs law boutique, focused on complex and strategic demands. To that, they have developed a culture of combining academic refinement, a pragmatic approach on the problems, closeness to the client’s reality, a profound knowledge on administrative and judicial jurisprudence, and a creative thinking on the cases, being able to deliver a clinical look on strategic cases, with deep and efficient insights.

The firm was created after their partners left the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals (CARF), where they stood out with very technical and in-depth decisions, which had wide repercussions in the tax environment, bringing great prestige and notoriety to them. Two of the main partners, Carlos Daniel Neto and Diego Diniz Ribeiro, have been lawyers for a long time, both are very respected by their peers in academic and professional circles, thanks to their solid academic background and their long experience in CARF, being usually invited as guest speakers in Tax Courses and specialized seminars. The third partner to join, Antônio Atulim, is a former (retired) Tax Auditor from Federal Revenue Office, who worked as a Tax Judge at CARF for 13 years and joined the firm to strengthen both litigation and consultancy expertise.
