Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa is a Mexican law firm with a newly established Spanish presence. The team comprises thirteen associates and three partners. Industry-agnostic expertise covers private fund structuring, debt refinancing, and M&A activity. The practice lead is former Uria Menendez partner Pere Pons. Fellow partners Miguel Bastida and Guillermo Bueno comprise the senior leadership team.
The firm advised a real estate investor on cross-border property portfolio migration. It also acted for a separate real estate investor in structuring to mitigate VAT liabilities on property acquisitions.
Partner Miguel Bastida joined the firm from Uria Menendez in February 2022, and fellow partner Guillermo Bueno arrived from Araoz & Rueda in September 2022.
